Utilizing Coaching to Advance Your Professional (Personal) Growth

Coaching is a powerful tool to take your development as an attorney, a leader, and a person to a new phase. This program is designed to demystify coaching so participants can consider the value of adding this tool to your professional toolbox and will take place in three parts.

  1. Executive and leadership coaches will explain the ins and outs of coaching, why a person might consider utilizing an executive, leadership, or career coach, and how a person identifies the appropriate coach.

  2. Participants will engage in a value clarification exercise and discuss the importance of value alignment and coaching.

  3. The program will end with a panel discussion where current members of the WOCAL Forum will discuss their experiences utilizing an executive or leadership coach.

At the end of the program, participants will have the knowledge necessary to determine how partnering with an executive or leadership coach would benefit their development as an attorney (and a person) and an understanding of how to proceed in identifying the optimal coach. A reception will follow the formal program.
