Dr. Michael Burchell is an expert in human capital strategy and transformational change. He is the co-author of two books, No Excuses: How You Can Turn Any Workplace into a Great One (2013), and The Great Workplace: How to Build It, How to Keep It, and Why It Matters (2011). A seasoned executive counselor in organizational effectiveness, including workplace culture change, employee engagement, and human capital strategy. He partners with clients on issues related to transformation such as top team effectiveness, merger integration, diversity & inclusion, and employer branding.

Michael brings over 30 years of experience in post-secondary education, manufacturing and workplace consulting. As an Executive Vice President at United Minds, Group Managing Director for Great Place to Work® and Organization Expert for McKinsey & Company, Michael has worked with leading, global organizations in enhancing the employee experience through design, data, coaching, team development and facilitation.
