Meet MaryBeth Sigler
MaryBeth Sigler is a certified executive leadership coach who has more than 25 years of experience working with senior executives and their teams to optimize leadership skills and reach their professional potential. Her coaching is goal-oriented and utilizes a variety of approaches, including adult learning theories, change models, cognitive behavior theory, styles of leadership, appreciative inquiry, strengths-based development, neuroscience, and mindfulness. She coaches across a wide variety of leadership skills, including collaboration, creating high-performing teams, emotional intelligence, executive presence, influencing, conflict resolution, communication, delegation, strategic thinking, innovation, and change management.
MaryBeth provides leadership coaching to clients internationally and has worked with clients in many industries, including banking, law, consulting, manufacturing, technology, crypto, and healthcare. She most often coaches founders, C-suite, and senior executives, and has also coached high-potential emerging leaders and middle management. She partners with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to provide group coaching to early stage startup founders, and with CHIEF to provide group facilitation and coaching for senior female leaders. She is an adjunct professor at New York University where she teaches leadership coaching courses in the coaching certification program.

Coaching Experience:
Coached the newly elected managing partner for a mid-size law firm located in the United States to strengthen leadership of the firm. Specific areas of focus included leadership styles, strategic vision, influencing. Coaching was a sounding board for the leader, helped him feel more confident in influencing within the executive team, setting a strategic agenda, and leading positive culture change in the firm.
Coached the German ex-pat COO of an international pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in the United States to develop his management and leadership skills, including development of competency in emotional intelligence, delegation skills, building team trust, performance management, time management, and leadership styles. Realized improvements in developing a leadership style that is effective, culturally-sensitive and authentic to the leader.
Coached the CEO of a global foundation on improving the management of relationships across the business, including with her board of directors, and reports. Specific areas of focus include the development of competencies in self-management, emotional intelligence, and influencing. Coaching helped her develop an understanding of differences in work styles and motivations, and how to better manage different team members to encourage greater team collaboration and trust.
Coached a team of rising high-potential leaders in an international technology company. Utilizing 360 feedback, each leader had a developmental journey which included one-on-one coaching, directed learning, and experiential leadership development in three primary leadership competencies. Competencies that were coached included influencing, executive presence, assertiveness, conflict resolution, emotional management and inspirational vision. Results included two immediate promotions following the completion of the coaching program, and measurable change across all leaders in the assessed competencies.
Coached a senior legal executive in a newly formed leadership position to develop effective communication with the senior leadership team, resulting in her ability to clarify roles and responsibilities and improving her ability to impact strategic planning and new business development. Helped the client build the critical relationships required to succeed in this new role. Focused on understanding organizational dynamics, developing effective communication skills and processes, influencing, and using mindfulness-approaches to manage stress. Further work focused on building listening, time management and influencing skills.
