Client Type: Law Firm Business Executive
Industry: Legal
Issue: The client was new to senior leadership and wanted to build skills
Approach: One-on-one leadership coaching to build delegation skills, learn how to give honest and effective feedback and “manage up” with greater skill.
Result: The client quickly felt more comfortable in his role and was able to immediately use some of the tools that we had worked on together.
Client Type: Mid-level Executive
Industry: Sustainable Finance
Issue: The client did not find her current role meaningful, did not have a positive relationship with her manager, and felt “stuck”.
Approach: One-on-one coaching to rebuild her confidence, envision a new career path, and move into a new position.
Result: Over time the client’s confidence grew as I provided a reality check regarding the disfunction of her current situation. Together we mapped out the steps to identify and obtain a new role, which led to a new position that was a major improvement for her.
Client Type: Mid-level Executive
Industry: Government Contractor
Issue: The client had received feedback that he displayed anger at peers when he felt they were not doing their jobs well.
Approach: One-on-one coaching aimed at helping the client become self-aware about the thoughts that were making him angry, pausing to consider if those thoughts were helpful and/or correct, and considering alternative thinking.
Result: The client finished the coaching feeling confident that he now had actionable steps and techniques that would help him remain calmer at work.
