Mo Chanmugham is an executive career and leadership development coach with a diverse professional background having worked in sports marketing, entertainment, and the legal industry for companies such as Reebok, United Talent Agency, and Sony Music. He works with attorneys and other executives from various industries including tech, law, finance, consulting, and media on topics including career transition, developing executive presence, leading teams, managing conflict, communicating effectively, and influencing stakeholders. He has experience delivering one on one coaching, group coaching, facilitation, and leading workshops.

Relevant Experience

  • Coached a Director of Marketing for a global beverage brand to improve delegation and time management skills. He felt he didn’t have the time to teach his team members what to do but the work was piling up and he felt guilty pushing work on to them. We worked on a plan to identify what to delegate, who to give it, and how to support the team in getting the work done. He removed himself from the process and his team rose to the challenge.

  • Coached an HR manager at a major fashion label to transition from being seen as only a subject matter expert to a leader of strategy. She was focused on getting the work done but missed the opportunity to interact with her leaders. She saw that it was also part of her job to build relationships to better understand how she can do her job.

  • Coached a Marketing Director to navigate a new work culture and overcome past issues of self-doubt and develop her executive presence. She went from being nervous to interact with her senior level peers to confidently sharing her ideas.

  • Coached a senior associate attorney to build his network and profile within his firm in order to be considered for partnership.
