Q+A with Gordon Loeb

What unique perspective do you bring to your practice?

My entrepreneurial and corporate background helps me understand many of the challenges our clients are facing, and I introduce solutions to help them overcome those challenges. As a leader and lifelong learner, I am always looking to expand my knowledge and experiences so I can bring new perspectives to our company and engagements.  As a person who has a strong preference for introversion, I understand the unique issues that brings, and I can help others who share this preference exercise their extroversion “muscle.”

Describe major career/life decisions that led you to your current role. How have these experiences shaped the way you engage with clients?

Many years ago, I was in the financial services industry, and I never felt aligned with the work and the company. What I didn’t realize at the time was that my core values were not aligned with my role. During this time, Natalie the Founder of Loeb Leadership and my wife, was growing her consulting business and I was fascinated by what she was doing. I started to help build the business in the background and came over full time over 12 years ago. Now, my values are fully aligned with the work we perform, and it helps me bring the passion our clients appreciate.

What are a couple of your biggest successes?

Helping to grow Loeb Leadership from an independent consultancy to a boutique firm with over 50 awesome coaches and consultants. Running the company with Natalie, my wife and celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary, (many people can’t believe we are able to do it). 😊
